Drug Paraphernalia Charges Las Vegas
The Wright Law Group, P.C., is a highly experienced and respected law firm specifically dedicated to defending persons charged with marijuana offenses in Las Vegas and throughout Clark County, such as possession, trafficking, manufacture and sale of all cannabis derived substances. Presently in his 25th year of practice, founder John Henry Wright, Esq., is peer rated A/V by Martindale & Hubble as “Preeminent” in the fields of Criminal Law and Litigation, but it is also our unique perspective and experience that sets us apart.

First, we are not simply another criminal defense firm. While we have for decades successfully defended persons charged with all manner of offense, including arson, murder, robbery etc., our passion lies in defending cannabis cases. Why? Because unlike those other types of cases, we do not believe marijuana possession, cultivation and sale should be illegal to begin with. This is why we are members of such organizations as NORML and Americans For Safe Access, to strive for legality and free markets. However, until our governments and laws become more enlightened, we need to use every legal devise at our disposal to fight the harsh application of the laws as they currently stand. We constantly educate ourselves on the constantly changing laws both here and around the country in order to find applications to our client’s cases. This area is so rapidly expanding that the next breakthrough in, for instance, defending a DUI-Marijuana case, may not come from within this state, but from some other state facing the same problems. That is why it is imperative to understand what is happening here and around the country, and that is what we do on a daily basis. We strive to inform our clients and followers of advances and issues through our frequent blog articles.
Second, we also represent those in the legitimate state-licensed medical marijuana industry. This gives us a much better understanding of the application of our new laws, most of which have yet to be tested in court. Laws governing the lawful use of marijuana have unintended relevance to defenses to illicit use as well. Licensed medical marijuana operations have to struggle to keep in compliance with state laws that are poorly and hastily drafted and at times are in direct conflict with our state constitution which guarantees the lawful use of medicinal marijuana. Because we are required to scrutinize these laws and the ways the government construes and applies them, often improperly, we see things differently, and more frequently, than the average criminal lawyer. Being the first to take advantage of the unknown and untested is a major advantage in any case and has served our clients well (click here for recent case results).
Finally, ethics. We hold the highest peer rating for ethics. You can be the greatest legal mind in the world but you cannot serve your client if people do not trust you. This means the Courts have to believe in your credibility as do your opponents. Bluster and “aggressiveness” are no alternatives for skill, talent and hard work and building a reputation takes years. Our opponents know the lengths we will take to defend our clients and the results show this. Most importantly, it is imperative that you trust us. That is why we answer your questions rather than talk at you – and our fee agreements are easy to understand, clear as to what our services include, and, unlike other firms, our fees are not a moving target.
Feel free to contact our office via email or phone. We will be pleased to answer your questions, alleviate your stress and anxiety and start formulating a defense to your case today.
